The Canadian Lyme Coalition (“CLC”) is established for the following purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To advance education through charitable research by conducting and supporting non-commercial research related to the prevalence, geographic distribution, and public health impact of tick-borne infections in Canada, and by disseminating the results of such research to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To advance education by developing and providing evidence-based educational programs and materials to the public in Canada regarding tick-borne infections, including Lyme disease, their modes of transmission, risk factors, and recognized prevention strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To relieve sickness and promote health by increasing public understanding of measures that may reduce the risk of tick-borne infections through access to reliable, non-commercial health education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
