What We Do

The Canadian Lyme Coalition (“CLC”) is established for the following purposes:

To advance education through charitable research by conducting and supporting non-commercial research related to the prevalence, geographic distribution, and public health impact of tick-borne infections in Canada, and by disseminating the results of such research to the public.

To advance education by developing and providing evidence-based educational programs and materials to the public in Canada regarding tick-borne infections, including Lyme disease, their modes of transmission, risk factors, and recognized prevention strategies.

To relieve sickness and promote health by increasing public understanding of measures that may reduce the risk of tick-borne infections through access to reliable, non-commercial health education.
